December 8 Litexpo will host the presentation of Juozas Statkevičius' new collection

"I wouldn't be able to do anything on my own, so I want to publicly say 'thank you'," the most famous costume designer and designer of Lithuanian theater speaks about the upcoming beauty festival.

Over the years, it has been recognized by name. J. Statkevičius became a guarantee of prestige and quality of refined taste. He is the only Lithuanian designer who has his own postage stamp and the prototype of "Dviračio Žinios". The desire to emulate him is revealed by the labels of the studio of J. Statkevičius sold in Gariūnai. His taste is trusted and willingly worn by Hollywood stars and crowned personalities.

During the event, books, perfumes, candles and T-shirts by Juozas Statkevičius will be available for purchase.

J. Statkevičius is proud to be able to organize a celebration typical of the fashion capitals of the world. From his internships in Parisian fashion houses, he wanted to bring back a part of Paris to Lithuania. Fashion collections are presented four times a year in London, New York, Milan and Paris: in January and July, the so-called haute couture, collections of the most famous fashion houses, sewn by designers of good quality a lot of materials are handmade, and in October and March – prêt-à-porter -  mass-produced clothes that are less luxurious and much cheaper than haute couture. Unfortunately, ordinary residents do not get to such fashion festivals. In London, New York and Paris, only customers who support fashion designers, shop owners who sell products from the displayed collections, world celebrities and global fashion media are invited to the presentations. There are no such luxury stores in Lithuania - Chanel, Versace, Christian Dior - so the doors to representatives of our clothing stores are also closed there.

Fashion presentation is an expensive pleasure, but unlike in Paris, you can buy a ticket in Vilnius and this is a fundamental difference. Ordinary French people cannot even dream of such an opportunity.
